Chinese, 19th century, possibly earlier. Large Chinese Export Madarin palette bowl decorated in famille rose enamels, the interior decorated at the lip with arrow tip border with central peach and floral cartouche to the bottom, the exterior decorated with figural and 'sepia' landscape panels. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 4.3", diameter of mouth 10.15".
Light wear to gilt and enamels commensurate with age and light handling. Wear to bottom of foot commensurate with age and shelf use. Scattered dirt and grime--may benefit from light professional cleaning. A few scattered glazing imperfections throughout--not particularly distracting. No signs of chips, nicks, hairlines, cracks or any other damage, loss or repair.
