Louis XV paint decorated fauteuil having an arched back carved with scrolled acanthus and a central floral garland over a caned back, padded armrests and caned seat with serpentine and acanthus carved seat rail raised on cabriole legs carved at the knee with foliate and terminating in leafy scrolled toes. Approximate height 37.5", width 22.5" (seat width), seat depth 17.5", seat height 15".
