French, 20th century. A side or occasional table with tulipwood veneers and marquetry inlay, the top in the form of a trefoil decorated with three opposing tulipwood veneers with intertwining scrolled foliate motif marquetry within a pierced wooden gallery over a gilt beaded edge, the frieze decorated with tulipwood veneer with vertical grain, over carved gilt laurel leaf swags, raised on three cabriole legs each with gilt corner decoration, each joined by an arched c-scroll stretcher rail to a central leaf carved urn finial, terminating in gilt sabots. Approximately 30.25" x 21.5".
Structurally sound. Overall good condition. There are a couple of very small minor glue repairs to pierced wood gallery, not distracting. Scattered chips with finish loss to the legs commensurate with usage (see image #7).
