Paul Moreau-Vauthier (French, 1871-1936), "Brittany Woman Feeding Chickens", patinated bronze sculpture, incised with "P. Moreau-Vauthier" on base. Figural table sculpture depicting a peasant woman from Brittany in traditional dress holding an empty dish and resting hand on hip, four chickens pecking and eating foot on ground. Figural group supported on a oblong octagonal base. Approximate height 7.25", width 3.6", depth 4".
No signs of dings, dents or damage. Minor light signs of handling with wear to patination on back of figure, top of chicken's tail feathers, edges of base, and bottom of bowl. Item examined under black light, no other sign of damage, loss or repair.
