Meissen, late 18th to early 19th century. A magnificent matched pair of snowball porcelain covered urns heavily decorated with birds, fruits, nuts and daisy flowers. Marked with crossed swords mark dating 1774-1813. Approx: h. 14.75", w. 8.5".
Edge loss / chips to flowers and leaves. Overall non distracting restoration with filler and overpaint to birds, leaves, and branches. Under blacklight examination: minimal glue residue observed, mainly to one low hanging leaf.
