Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely late 19th/ early 20th century. A porcelain low bowl decorated in overglaze in the Rose Medallion pattern, the interior with alternating cartouches of courtly figural scenes and prunus fruit with birds and pink chrysanthemum blossoms, the cartouches reserved on a gilt ground highly ornamented with butterflies, flower blossoms, precious objects, and fruit, the subtly flaring rim with four white medallions banded with c scrolls and filled with clusters of auspicious symbols amid flowers, the bowl's exterior cavetto with clusters of precious objects, butterflies, and lotus buds. Underside with six character iron red mark for the Chien Lung imperial reign. Approximate diameter 14", height 2.5".
