American, Second half of 20th century. Set of 8 Baker Furniture George I style dining chairs (all side chairs without arms) with frames crafted from maple solids with white ash burl veneer with walnut finish. Each chair with pierced spoon shaped back with shaped central splat and is carved in relief with husks and foliage. Rounded upholstered seats (all but one with blue and white striped fabric, the other with light blue seat) above a shaped apron with hipped cabriole legs carved on the knees with scrolls and foliage before terminating to claw and ball feet. Approximate height 41", width 21", depth 21", seat to floor 18.25".
