DESCRIPTION: A Bronze sculptural group depicting a Mongolian hunter astride horse, with two greyhounds by his side. Marked with the iconic "DUBUCAND" on front left, and a foundry stamping number on rear left. Note: Alfred Dubucand (1828-1894) was a French-born sculptor, particularly known for his scenic groupings, high degree of realism, and motifs in the orientalist style. Revered for his large bronzes in the lost-wax method, his work is highly respected today.
