Ornate 19th century Kingdom of Morocco koumiya dagger. Features a curved double-edged blued steel blade, bottom edge with a spine that starts at the crossguard and terminates at the mid-point of the blade. The dagger's furniture is fabricated from brass with the obverse having a thick silver layer applied. The grip has two square stones embedded, one near the crossguard, the other at the centre of the very wide pommel. Ornate engravings throughout.

Some silver flaked away on high edges, brass reverse worn smooth. One of the metal plates that covers the grip is missing, revealing wood underneath. Blade finish worn. Please see photos.
