- Lot Description
Ifangbwa short swords were used primarily by the Mbudja, but also by the Ngombé, Doko, Ngbandi, Ndunga, Poto, and other smaller groups. They were mainly found in the area between the Congo River and the Mongala and Ebola Rivers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Blade has 4 small copper inserts.
Dimensions: 21.25" long overall, 16.5" blade.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $60.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing.
