  Blue and white double-sided enameled porcelain advertising sign for the American Express Company, promoting their financial services including money orders, foreign checks, travelers cheques, letters of credit, and telegraph transfers. Marked at the bottom, “O.E. & Co. Ltd. 33 B’WAY N.Y.” and “Made in England.” Early 20th century.

  Dimensions: 13 x 17 in.

  Condition

  Glossy surfaces with strong color and clear lettering. Chipping at the mounting holes, notably at the upper left corner, with small edge wear consistent with display and age.
