Late 19th or early 20th century Burmese Dha sword. This example has a string and braided cane grip, the scabbard is also held together with braided cane. The dha, also sometimes called dah, is a traditional sword of Southeast Asia. It is particularly associated with Burma but can be found throughout the region in different styles.
Dimensions: 30" long overall, 18.5" blade.
