- Lot Description
Late 19th or early 20th century Burmese Dha sword. This example has a wire grip and the scabbard is held together with brass bands. The dha, also sometimes called dah, is a traditional sword of Southeast Asia. It is particularly associated with Burma but can be found throughout the region in different styles.
Dimensions: 30.5" long overall, 18.5" blade.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $65.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Blade has staining. Some of the scabbard bands are missing. Please see photos.
