Framed Confederate States of America $100 banknote. 'Will pay to the bearer on demand ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.' Issued Richmond, VA, dated August 26, 1862. Oval portrait (Calhoun). Agricultural/Liberty vignette. T-40 or T-41 series. Signed lines for Register and Treasurer visible. Framed with decorative mat and gold frame.
