Boston Crystal Gelatine was a popular brand of gelatin sold in the late 19th century American gilded age, which was produced by the Crystal Gelatin Co., located in Boston, Massachusetts on Atlantic Avenue. It was most notably advertised from the 1880s-1890s and was primarily used for making desserts- often advertised on Victorian era illustrated trade cards.
This particular store hanging sign is comprised of two separate hand painted wood boards, the bottom stating “Sold By All Grocers.” Both signs are double sided.
Dimensions: A large 72” (6 foot long) sign.

Good antique condition. Retains majority of original paint with the exception of the verso side of the “Boston Crystal Gelatine” sign, which has significant paint loss.
