- Lot Description
Wavy blade Moro Kris Sword with skin covered scabbard. Grip covering alternates between jute and metal bands. Pommel is of the traditional Kakatua motif found on many Moro kris and barung swords. The separation in the 2 piece blade takes a sharp turn downward, this is found starting in the late 19th century and dates this kris to that timeframe.
Dimensions: 27" long overall, 19.75" blade.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $60.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Condition
Scabbard has various light dents and scrapes, a few flakes missing from skin covering. Blade has oxidation. Pommel has a chip on the back. Please see photos.
