• Lot Description

  Twined basket of flared, round form with a looped rim, also base constructed with checkered cedar bark. The rim finished with a continuous series of wrapped loops. The body decorated with horizontal bands and a zigzag motif in lighter and darker tones, incorporating polychrome elements. The base with a checkered plaited panel bordered by a ring of darker accents.

  Dimensions: Height: 5.5 in. Diameter: 9.5 in.

  Condition

  Overall good condition. Minor wear and surface abrasion consistent with age and use. Some looseness and minor fraying to elements of the looped rim, with scattered small losses and breaks to fibers. Light distortion to form. No major structural damage observed.
