Late 19th - early 20th century Filipino Batangas sword. The handle is made of water buffalo horn, fully carved, the pommel is in shape of terrifying monster head. The crossguard is made of a thick disc of the same type of horn.The blade has carved serations at the base. The tip is raised and rounded as the Parang Nabur in Indonesia. This is a Bicol style blade (Bicol is another island in Philippines). The sheath is also typical Bicol.

Blade has pits and staining. Scabbard has cracks and missing some of the bands that hold it together. Please see photos.
