- Lot Description
Wavy blade Moro Kris Sword with scabbard. Grip wrapped with jute string. Pommel is of the traditional Kakatua motif found on many Moro kris and barung swords. The separation in the 2 piece blade takes a sharp turn downward, this is found starting in the late 19th century and dates this kris to that timeframe.
Dimensions: 25.5" long overall, 19.25" blade (tip to grip), 17.5" blade (sharp part).
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $60.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition
Scabbard has various light dents and scrapes as well as some pieces chipped off he top. Blade has a few spots of light oxidation. Handle loose. Please see photos.
