- Lot Description
Hand-coiled earthenware olla of globular form with short neck and wide mouth. The exterior decorated in black and red over a buff ground with geometric panel designs, including stepped elements, triangular motifs, and heart-like forms arranged in a banded composition. The interior with visible firing clouds and darkened surface. The underside unglazed, showing wear consistent with use and age.
Likely Pueblo, Southwest United States. Ca. Early 20th c.

Condition
Surface wear throughout, including areas of paint loss and abrasion, most notably to the lower body. Scattered scuffs and handling wear. Interior with darkened residue and firing marks. Minor rim wear. No visible major cracks or restoration under inspection.
