Tab and bead fantail necklace made by Cipriano Garcia of the Kewa Tribe in the 1990's. Cipriano Garcia was a highly respected jewelry artist from the Kewa Pueblo (formerly Santo Domingo Pueblo), best known for his exceptional mosaic inlay work and refined fantail necklaces. A Kewa fantail necklace is a traditional Pueblo jewelry form made by artists from Kewa Pueblo recognized for its distinctive fan-shaped pendant that flares outward like a bird's tail or ceremonial fan. Necklace measures 27" long.
