- Lot Description
U.S. Model 1906 light cavalry saber with scabbard. Made by Ames Sword Co, Dated 1906. The M1906 was the last curved saber model produced for the US Cavalry. Ricasso marked: "A.S.Co (Flaming Bomb) 1906". The reverse ricasso is marked "U.S over J.H.C.", the inspector at Ames at that time.
Dimensions: 43.5" long overall, 34.75" blade.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $80.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Condition
Blade very fine with a few small blemishes. Scabbard has stained metal and several dents. Please see photos.
