- Lot Description
World War Two U.S. Navy WAVES uniform overcoat. Has tag inside that reads "Made and sold under the authority of U.S. Navy U.S. Women's Naval Reserve" The WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service), was the women's branch of the United States Naval Reserve during WW2. It was established in 1942 to replace officers and men in shore establishments to free them up for active sea duty.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $45.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
