  Circa .1770 Delightful Bilston Bonbonniere in the Shape of a Lion These painted enamel on copper boxes were used to hold small hard sugar candies. Notice the beautiful lion sculpted and painted form on the one side and the painted work of art on the other. Measures 2" in diameter and 1 1/4" high.
