Kirby Roll (American, active in 21st century). Adobe Church watercolor, n.d. Signature at lower right. A beautiful watercolor by Kirby Roll depicting an adobe mission church in the American Southwest. Roll painted this scene with impressive realism, presenting adobe walls that appear to exist in harmony with the surrounding natural landscape, and a striking white dome with a cross-topped cupola atop rising toward the skies above. Kirby Roll is a Utah native who lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is best known for painting landscapes throughout the western United States in both watercolor and oil paint. A stunning painting set in an attractive custom frame and hand-signed by Roll. Size (sight view): 18.75" L x 27.875" W (47.6 cm x 70.8 cm) Size (frame): 29" L x 38.125" W (73.7 cm x 96.8 cm)
