Seated in vajrasana on a double-lotus base, the Buddha with serene expression and downcast eyes, his hands held in dharmachakra mudra (gesture of teaching). The figure is finely cast, with detailed hair curls and a high ushnisha painted blue, wearing monastic robes draped over the left shoulder and incised at the hems. The gilded surfaces retain a warm patina from age and ritual handling. Raised on a stepped wooden base. Size: 4.375" W x 6.25" H (11.1 cm x 15.9 cm); 7.75" H (19.7 cm) on included custom stand.
