North America, Southwestern United States, ca. late 20th to 21st century CE. A bolo tie featuring a cross-cut section of polished deer or elk antler. The ornament is adorned with an oval turquoise cabochon displaying rich blue-green tones with black veins, set above a knapped chert arrowhead. The verso is fitted with a brass locking slide for adjustable wear, strung on braided leather cords. The terminal ends are capped with silver cones and spheres, tested at 85-90% silver content. A distinctive Southwestern style, perhaps Native American made, although unsigned, perfect for display or wear.
