Oil on Canvas. Helen Grimm is a Truro artist striving to reflect each moment that is all moments within a universe of constant change. Exploring the continuum between representation and abstraction, she channels energy moving through her into her work by processing cycles of attachment and release through moving paint around the canvas, layering color and texture and cutting away form. With degrees in art and art history from Cornell University (1990), Helen is also an herbalist, a nurse and a parent who has been painting steadily since 2002.
