Oil on canvas. Robin Herr is a New England-based artist whose work is inspired by the shifting colors, textures, and contrasts of the natural world. Marshes and meadows are recurring themes in her paintings, reflecting both the quiet minimalism and ecological complexity of these landscapes. She is also drawn to places where nature and the manmade intersect, exploring the tension and harmony between the two. A graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts, she studied painting under Barnet Rubenstein and Henry Shwartz, and has exhibited widely throughout New England.
