Oil on canvas. Sara Jane Doberstein (b. 1976, Hamilton, Ontario) is a Canadian-born painter known for her vibrant depictions of coastal life and everyday objects. Raised along Georgian Bay, she developed an early love for the shoreline, a theme that continues to inform her work. Since 2000, following studies at Emily Carr Institute and Fanshawe College, she has worked full time as an artist. Her style blends traditional representation with contemporary realism, capturing subjects with both technical precision and a playful sensibility. A Signature Member of several prestigious arts organizations, her award-winning work has been widely exhibited and is held in private and museum collections across North America and Europe.
