• Lot Description
  An ebonized wood floor easel, American or English, late 19th century. Pierced gallery crest with applied roundels above an adjustable picture rest fitted with a small painted panel depicting a waterbird among reeds and grasses in the Japonesque taste. Pierced fretwork apron on stepped feet.

  Condition

  Good. Ebonized finish with light rubbing and scattered paint losses consistent with age. Painted panel intact with minor surface wear. All joints sound.
