• Lot Description
  An American Empire sofa, circa 1830–1850, with scrolled back rail and scroll arms veneered in figured mahogany. Sits on carved paw feet at the front and turned rear legs. Reupholstered in a multicolor plaid wool-blend fabric in gold, green, red, and blue, with nailhead trim along the seat rail. Includes three loose cushions: two plaid arm pillows.

  Condition

  Mahogany veneer shows wear and losses consistent with age. Paw feet intact. Some distress splits. Scuffs throughout.
