• Lot Description
  Medium low dense wool pile on wool foundation. Fine hand-knotted rug. Field with central medallion with extensions, intricate floral patterns, is framed by a vibrant red field, while the surrounding navy-blue areas are filled with a repeating geometric motif, corner guards. The border is adorned with smaller floral and vine patterns in shades of red, orange, and blue, fringe at one end and flat weave at another end. Persian Kurdish, ca. 1920's/1930's

  Good antique condition, sporadic wear in areas, some soils and dirts commensurate with age and use; needs cleaning.
