  Finely carved wax portrait of a gentlaman in red robes; in an oval dark wood framed with gilt trim under glass; back with an old Crest label Ernest Carrington Oudry; and illegible inscription suggesting the sitter and possibly artist; purchased at Bonwit & Taylor, ca. 1960's

  Condition

  Two visible cracks - one under the chin and one at the shoulders.
