Hand-woven wool tribal khorjin, composed of two bag faces joined at the center, traditionally used for carrying goods across pack animals. Each panel features a stepped diamond lattice in deep indigo, rust, ivory, and madder tones, framed by multiple guard borders with geometric and stylized animal motifs. The central band shows remnants of original flatwoven and braided sections. Persian, ca. 1940's
