• Lot Description
  A seven-piece turquoise blue opaline glass dresser/vanity set, late 19th/early 20th century, probably Bohemian or French in the manner of Moser. Each piece decorated with raised gilt scrollwork cartouches and polychrome enameled floral sprays of pink and white blossoms with olive-green foliage, heightened throughout with burnished gilding. The set comprising: a large oval serving tray with beaded edge; a tall baluster-form candlestick with domed circular foot; a slender trumpet-form bud vase on disc foot; a globular perfume/scent bottle with metal-collared neck and lid; a tall cylindrical covered jar; a domed circular covered powder box with ball finial; and a footed tazza/compote.

  Condition

  Wear to gilt, small scattered chips around the edges of some items.
