"Strelitzia reginae" bird of paradise flower, hand-colored engraving by Jean-Claude Michel Mornant de Launay and Jean-Louis-Auguste Loiseleur-Deslongchamps, from General Herbarium for the Amateur, containing the description, history, properties, and cultivation of useful and ornamental plants. With illustrations painted from nature by M. Bessa. Paris: printed by Fain for Audot, [1810-] 1816-1827, hinge mounted to mat board, 13-7/8" x 10-5/8" sheet size 17" x 14-1/2" overall.
Condition
Good, some discolorations and handling wear consistent with age, crease from folding to one. Scuffs to mat board.
