• Lot Description
  A brass folding fire screen together with a companion brass fireplace tool set. The screen of four hinged panels with arched tops, ball finials, and wire-mesh infill, folding accordion-style for a shaped front. The accompanying tool set with ball-turned handles on a matching brass stand with a pierced foliate base. Screen approx. 32-1/2 in. H x 53 in. W (fully extended). Provenance: lifetime private collection, Dr. Martin and Lisa Earle, Pittsburgh, PA.

  Condition

  Bright polished brass surfaces with only light handling wear and minor scattered tarnish/spotting consistent with age and use. Screen panels hinge freely; mesh intact with no visible tears or losses. Tool set complete as pictured with stand.
