• Lot Description
  Chinese Export armchair, masterfully carved from dense hardwood. The backrest features an elaborate openwork design of two intertwined dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl, their sinuous bodies forming the arms and crest rail. Each arm terminates in a dragon’s head holding a sphere. The shaped seat is bordered with foliate carving, while the apron and cabriole legs are richly adorned with stylized wings, masks, and scrolling motifs.
