• Lot Description
  Garlic mouth porcelain bottle vase decorated in famille rose enamels, the body finely painted with a continuous landscape scene of a figure riding a deer beneath pine trees, accented with rockwork and foliage. The neck and foot are enriched with elaborate borders in pink and turquoise with stylized lotus, ruyi-head, and geometric motifs. The interior and base are turquoise-glazed, the underside bearing an apocryphal six-character mark in red.

  Condition

  Drilled at the base, indicating prior use as a lamp. Wear around the rim from prior mounting.
