• Lot Description
  Two-panel folding screen, likely early 20th century, featuring carved and ebonized wood frames with openwork lotus cresting and incised foliate decoration. Each panel inset with lacquered and mother of pearl scenes depicting birds in flight among blossoming branches and a pagoda, rendered in contrasting inlay. Reverse with plain lacquered surfaces.

  Condition

  Good overall antique condition, restoration to the top carvings with touch-ups, some losses and wear commensurate with age and use.
