• Lot Description
  A substantial parcel gilt and silvered ewer of bulbous form with flared trumpet neck, angular loop handle, and straight cylindrical spout, decorated overall with parcel-gilt designs of mythical beasts, lions, and phoenixes amid dense scrolling foliage across horizontal registers. The gilt retaining strong color against the dark patinated ground. The foot rim with a further gilt border.
