• Lot Description
  Of baluster shape porcelain vase with applied gilt bronze double handles, fashioned as double pomegranates as symbols of Prosperity and Longevity, brass dome lid fitting with harp shade support and faux lapis lazuli glass finial, fashioned, as double Phoenixes. Vase decorated in under glaze blue with butterflies, floral-foliate, scrolls, garlands and acanthus leaf design on Famille Jeune background. Marked with "UW 1897" under crown in overglaze blue underneath, aperture underneath to utilise, as a lamp base. Fine craquelure finish to porcelain. Octagonal shape silk shade by The Bradburn gallery.
