Chinese porcelain jar decorated in the wucai (five-color) palette, likely dating to the late Qing Dynasty or early Republic period. The ovoid body is adorned with stylized phoenixes and flowering peonies amidst scrolling foliage, all hand-painted in vivid hues of iron red, cobalt blue, emerald green, and soft yellow on a white ground. A classic lappet border encircles the foot, while the shoulder and collar feature complementary floral bands. The jar is presented with a carved hardwood stand and two matching hardwood cover pierced with a stylized shou (longevity) character, allowing for use as a potpourri or incense container.
