  A detailed and humorous cold-painted bronze sculpture depicting a reclining man in Middle Eastern-style dress, with a mischievous monkey clambering over his shoulder and reaching for a fruit in his hand. Finely cast and painted in typical polychrome enamel, though now with expected surface wear and scattered losses to the original cold-painting. Likely produced in the circle of Franz Bergman, known for such Orientalist and figural bronzes.
