• Lot Description
  "The Raising of the Widow's Som at Main - Luke 7:11-17. Illustrates the biblical miracle from Luke 7:11-17, where Jesus Christ stops the funeral procession outside the city gates of Nain and raises the widow's dead son back to life. The Biblical theme painting composition and costumes resemble European academic history painting of the late 17th or 18th century. Tempera on paper, not signed, under glass in gilt frame, overall 14-3/4" x 19-3/8".
