• Lot Description
  Matriarch. Oil on canvas, very well done minute hand painted oval half portrait, depicting a wealthy family matriarch with attention to fine details, unsigned, unframed. Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA; acquired from the Estate of the philanthropist Drue Heinz (widow of H.J. "Jack" Heinz II) in 2019.

  Condition

  Good overall, restored with some scattered in-painting visible under UV light; craquelure, very light stretcher lines, wear to canvas overwrap.
