  Low pile wool on cotton foundation: A beautifully hand-knotted Persian rug featuring a rich and intricate central medallion design. The color palette includes deep navy, rich burnt orange, ivory, light blue, and subtle touches of rose and green, set against a vibrant field with traditional floral motifs and palmettes. The border is a classic Herati-style design with rosettes and vine scrolls in complementary tones. Persian, ca. 1970's This piece displays the high knot density and craftsmanship typical of rugs produced in major weaving centers. It retains vibrant colors and is in overall excellent condition, with only minor wear to the fringe.
