• Lot Description
  A group of five Chinese brass temple vases, each of varying baluster and gu-form design, finely cast and incised with auspicious motifs, dragons, and stylized bands. Four of the vases feature high-relief dragon-and-pearl decoration around the shoulder and neck, symbolizing imperial power and protection. The fifth vase is of gu form, with flared mouth and stylized archaistic patterns. All five vases bear incised seal marks to the base, referencing traditional Chinese characters often associated with blessings or longevity, suggesting use in a temple or altar setting. The vases exhibit warm golden tones and natural patination from age, with intricate chased detailing enhancing their ceremonial character.
