• Lot Description
  Fashioned as a puto standing on one foot and holding a wreath with blossoming roses, and five up-swept rose bush branches ascending onto rose blossoms, attached to columnar ormolu bronze pedestal with cross base, decorated with d'Ore bronze floral-foliate garlands and laurel leaf wreath; heavy bronze candelabrum with attached green felt underneath. Provenance: prominent private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, since early 20th century, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Very good overall antique condition, nice naturally acquired patina, some wear to gilt finish commensurate with age and use.
